FOUNDATIONAL LITERACY AND NUMERACY (FLN) PROGRAM
The Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN) Program is a targeted academic intervention designed to strengthen core literacy and numeracy skills among students in grades 4–7 across 10 rural schools in Puttur. Focusing on learners with baseline scores below 50%, the program follows a structured assessment model using Baseline, Midline, and Endline evaluations to address gaps in basic arithmetic and Kannada language proficiency.
Delivered by trained FLN educators with a low 1:20 teacher–student ratio, the program ensures personalized academic support. It is further strengthened by integrated psychosocial care, including counseling sessions for students and parents, enabling academic improvement to be supported by mental well-being and long-term learning success.
