A training session for volunteers of the Grantha Mitra programme was held at the Dakshina Kannada Zilla Panchayat. Over 80 volunteers from 15 different colleges participated in the event. The gathering was addressed by Shri Anandh K, IAS, CEO of DKZP, and Smt. Nagarathna, NSS Coordinator at Mangalore University. Additionally, Smt. Priyanka Mary Francis, IAS, Commissioner of Panchayat Raj, shared her insights about the Grantha Mitra initiative virtually. Team ACT volunteers conducted interactive sessions to equip participants with the skills and knowledge necessary to actively contribute to the Grantha Mitra programme in their respective Panchayats.
